Old and weathered, Abner welcomes you into his Cathedral offering you bread and water.
Leading St Cathren's Cathedral's effort to aid the downtrodden, Father Abner was dealing with far greater horrors than the homeless. Known as an honest and compassionate man, Abner ran St. Catherine's for the benefit of the city's downtrodden for twenty years. Abner, corrupted by truly alien influences, demonstrated significant changes in the weeks prior to his death. At forty five, he looked closer to the grave than his age would indicate. In conjunction with his physical degradation, his attitude became more distant and hostile with anyone outside of his parish. In the end, he became a ravening madman completely corrupted by the terror lurking beneath the church's foundation.
